Supreme Sunday Bike Ride

There's a highway in Denver called E-470. Along the highway there's what they call the E-470 bike path. The path runs east and west all the way across Denver. On Sunday I rode my bicycle through the Cherry Creek State Park down to the path to meet up with a friend and his wife who were riding their bicycles in an Easterly direction on the path.

It was a bit cold out but I was able to fashion a sock liner booty out of plastic that I found on the side of the trail. It worked really well and it was the equivalent of a toe cover as opposed to a full booty (bread loaf bag).

The ride was a delightful 45 miles with no extreme efforts to speak of.

Dawn 'til Dusk - Gallup, NM 2009

Our team has been assembled for Dawn 'til Dusk 2009. We're going with the same squad as last year and we're hoping Seth isn't on his death bed.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Team: "awesome name here"
--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-==-=-
Take a look at these quotes and tell me our team isn't motivated to bring home some native american pottery.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Greg: "I'm getting down to fighting weight"
Seth: "Count me as in - it will give me an excuse to fix my bike."
Mac: "I'm very happy to be on such a great team."
Nate: "I'm going to start running. now, i'm saying that out loud because i really need to start."

3 mile run

I'm hoping to improve my running skills. So far running is very hard.

Cross Training

Played some basketball, ran a few wind sprints and did some core exercises today. I haven't been riding bikes much, but there's plenty of time for that. I'd consider riding in freezing cold temps or using a trainer if someone wanted to pay me to do it. There will be plenty of bike riding when it gets warm.

Trying to integrate blog in website

I've been trying get this blog to appear within the website that it is now linked from. I've battled the ftp settings for many hours without success. I've made some progress but am back to square one. The blog is back to being hosted on blogspot.com. I'm only writing this because if I didn't I'd probably throw the monitor through the window in my bedroom. Trying and failing is terrible. It's not just about hard work or mental toughness. It's about the inability to grasp the concept. To put it all together and make it work. There is only one right way to do it and I haven't found it. It doesn't actually matter whether it's hosted on blogspot on integrated into the site. Only I care at this point. I'll think i'll call the blogspot people and see if they'll help me.
